COVID-19 Notice
April 01, 2020
Midtown Home Health Services is closely monitoring updates related to the COVID-19 status. Midtown has a dedicated team that is focusing on employee, operational, business and consumer safety during this unprecedented epidemic. We continue to follow the strategies and measures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Massachusetts Dept. of Public Health. The CDC has information available on its website at www.coronavirus.gov that provides the latest information about COVID-19.
Internally, we continue to share the latest information and training throughout our company via social media, internal email, text messages, flyers, handouts, and Care Academy online training platform. We are encouraging the following healthy behaviors and protocols, and are requiring all employees to self-evaluate and notify their Supervisor if not feeling well and stay home.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth, especially when out in public.
- Avoid contact with people who are sick and stay home if you are sick.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue away, and then wash your hands as described above.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
- Follow CDC’s recommendations for using a facemask if applicable.
